Off the current subject but I was thinking today, is there is anything I should be particulary worried about or need to get done (other than regular maintainence) with a 1999 F250 4x4 drving such a long distance? She has 64,000 miles on her right now. I just changed the oil yesterday and replaced the worn out 35s with factory size tires. She has a K&N cold air intake so she breathes well. Tires got balanced and aligned. You think I am missing anything?

Waiting for parts for my truck, so probably won't do much work to it this weekend. For any of you that want to see the progress, check out my gallery. Long project in the making, but going to be well worth it.
Never knew my house could make so many noises when it gets this cold up here. Right now -12 with windchills in the -30s. Furnace hardly shuts off. But, it could always be worse right?

I know one thing my heat bill this month will definilty be big. My furnace runs more then its off. I got natural gas which isnt cheap. But if your on propane its really bad. 2 bucks a gallon. Wow thats terrible really. I definitly need a cheaper alternative. How do you guys heat your houses. Gas electricity or maybe even a wood stove. I am sure the gas companies are luvin this weather.

I have gas furnaces (one for the upstairs, one for the main level) with a heat pump on the main level. I'm not real impressed with the heat pump. I mainly had it installed, to use more electricity than gas since I get an employee discount on my electric bill.
