Yeah i definatly dont like a flathead motor even near how much I love a 302. I just thought about expanding my horizons! The more I think about it I think Im just gonna leave the flatheads where they sit. Just doesnt seem like its gonna be the motor I would like to be running.

My thinking is that a Flattie is sweet but it`ll take a lot of tlc to keep it going.
I`d sooner drop in a 302/351 or a 460 and drive it till the wheels fall off.

I guess I`m only elite if I can keep the 53 M350 running.
Oh well, I do have a spare Flattie if it comes to that.

Pyro, forgive me, but are either of those engines actually runable? if so what do you think your uncle would want for them?

Your forgiven. Both run, and Im not sure if he wants to actualy sell them, I kind of doubt it. He was mentioning them to me because he would most likely want to give me a complete truck to work on, or enough stuff to make the truck complete.

that tractor i was talking about. Ive got a 8BA block here, and a Merc crank, but the block has a leak in a water jacket, fixable, but never know there might be more hiding. if i could get my hands on a decent runner reasonable i might be interested.
