Well I wouldnt say MORE valuable, but hey its not far behind!
Hey Joe does your woman have any 87+ boxes for a half or 3/4 ton with little to no rust kicking around?! Maybe I could buy one from her and get it this summer on my way through!
Whooo nevermind then! Thats a little pricey for my blood! Ill just wait and stop at the chilliwack auto wrecker when I go through and hope for one at 100 bucks again, thanks though
At a hundred bucks all you`ll get is one and a half patch panel.....
Usually the box you can buy for for anything around $500 at the wreckers isn`t worth bothering with.
I disagree. Ive been to tons of auto wreckers, and alot of pickapart ones, and the average price for a good box is 400 bucks if they take it off. The pick apart ones are harder to find because of the price so the good ones are always taken, but thats what they charge.
Just the 255 wasn't available in the trucks. The only reference I can find about a 255 in a truck was you could special order a 255 in a 1953 M-600. Other wise they were swapped in the 48-54 trucks and not factory.
Actuallym you are right the 255 was mainly a car motor but all easily swapped into trucks.
