anybody know where to find the orange boot that connects the intake to the turbo? mine is disintegrating! What's a good price for it too? Anywhere to get them besides stealership? I thought of junkyard and will call around tomorrow.
Ford wont sell that orange hose anymore because they tended to crack like yours. They have a kit to repace it for over $100 or you can buy the new hose by itself for like $30-40 but it wont fit like the orange one. The new black one it made of better material
you can get one from intakehoses.com or you could go to the dealer ship and get just the hose for a superduty then a piece of 4'' exhaust pipe and a 6637 air filter from napa and make your own intake
ditto on the intakehoses.com. They have them for sure. You know I might even be tempted to get the diameter of the hoses and go buy a radiator hose that fits and cut them down. I am pretty sure they are 2-3/8" on our OBS trucks
<TABLE><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top width="100%">You are talking of the orange hose , I think that is not fabricated any more, you may try here: http://intakehoses.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=I&Category_Cod e=FPM it is for a "bolt on", direct change from the original orange hose, or you may want to upgrade with the black hose (like is in the pics posted below), you have to buy a kit: Intake Hose Kit (updated kit replaces orange hose, includes replacement for aluminum center section)
(Ford) F7TZ-9C681-AA
Intake Hose, updated black (Replacement hose for above, does not directly replace orange hose)
(Ford) F81Z-9C681-BA
The first one is if you dont want to do the CCV mod and the second is if you are going to do the CCV mod, and you dont need the part of the second pic and you only need to add a piece of exhaust 4" OD, 3-4" long. and the air will flow better.

No they are 3 3/8" to 3", see the reference inthe link I put from intakehoses.com
I was referring to the y-pipes but now I am not sure of the size anymore, but still think 2-3/8". I know the SD's are 3" and ours are smaller. I thought that is the hoses he was referring to. Sorry for the confusion.
