Post AOD Vs. E4OD

Which is the better transmission? Plan to retrofit into a 78 with a diesel engine.

AOD Vs. E4OD

The AOD will only last a few feet behind a diesel. It's much too light of a transmission for that application.

The E4OD and the C6 are the only two automatics Ford has used with the diesel.
