So today when I was leaving work, I hit the unlock button like I normally do and faintly heard not just mine, but the guy next to me's doors unlock too. It was a fairly new F-150. I didn't believe it the first time, so I tried again and sure enough. I thought they used all unique codes???
Back in the day, Harley Davidson made ony 4 different keys for there Sportsters from about 79 to to 83. As a result may Sportsters were stolen. So you might want to be careful. I guess they have only so may "unique" codes. What are the odds that you would be parked right next to someone with the same code. STRANGE You should go play the lottery............
Funny you mention that, I thought about stopping to get a ticket on my way home. It really is too bad it wasn't a F-350 PSD, I definately would have had to check to see if the key fit then!
FYI. If you lock your keys in your truck and the wife has a keyless for it on her chain. You can call her and have her hit the unlock button while aimed at the phone and you aim your phone at the truck it will unlock it.

Neal have you every tried that? I have heard that before but nobody could verify and I always forget to try it. One thing I do know is the key fob won't work if the keys are in the ingnition. but that would be cool to find out. If it works its time to get another Fob!
