My '76 F100 is kind of a burnt orange, red orange color. I forget the paint code on it. It's the Explorer package and has white striping on the sides and hood.
Sorry I don't have any pictures in my gallery yet, but could probably find some time this weekend to take some if that's what you're after.
Not really sure what you're after? There's one in my gallery. Well half of what Ford called Coral. At least according to my build sheet. Although it has been repainted.
There's a few possibilities. The Burnt Orange (non-metallic) was actually called "Medium Copper." (go figure- but it's fact) There was a Reddish orange called "Coral" and a Bright Orange called "Tangerine."
This morning I looked through some of the papers that were in the glovebox of my truck when I bought it. Quite a bit of the original 1st sale paperwork was in there. Mine was referred to as copper and the color code on my door plate says "H".
*edit*
Wow, I just took a look at that autocolorlibrary website. If I didn't have my paint code and paperwork I wouldn't have been able to pick out copper as the color of my truck. Mine looks way more red than how it's appearing on my screen. Color representation really is a slippery thing when it comes to scanning the old original paintchip books and then projecting them across the internet to thousands of different displays.
mine is a very bright hi gloss orange! when I say bright I mean bright! I havnt seen one like this before I have it post onthis site take a look and see for yourself
