About time you came around Kenny, I was going to send out the FTE hit team for you!! Hey, I already have the 390, so if I yank that six, do you want it? I think it's a 300, but I could be wrong. It ran really well when I could drive it, but that's been 9 years ago. Let me know.
It just has the GT heads. The guy who ran the shop where I bought the motor had a set, and he included them with the price. I'll have to find the name of this place where I bought the motor. It's down in Hutchinson, KS. They sell blocks to machine shops all around the country. 17,000 square feet of nothing but motors and partsall neatly arranged!!!!! They have just about anything you would want (except for the hard to find stuff). I walked around in this place for four hours. It's a gear-heads paradise!!
I was just thinking about something. I am going to need to order some things for my projects from LMC or NPD - Left and right fenders for my 69, rear fenders for my 56, possibly box sides for my 56, etc. Anyhow where ever I get my stuff from is going to have to come truck frieght. To get truck freight you have to have a loading dock or forklift which I have at my store. If we all put together an order of big stuff we could get one shipment and split the freight. They want to charge about $150 freight to get it to your door but told me you can order as much as you want. The other nice thing is if you order a certain level you get a better cost. Here is the bad part - I won't be ready to put in an order until next spring - after my shoulder is healed and strong so that I can work on my "babies" again. Any one interested?
Yes! I won't be ready til then either George, so I'll be interested in possibly ordering some stuff. It depends on how much money I can part with at that time, but I think this is a great idea!
I'd probably be interested. I need to come across a good tailgate sometime (I'm told 67-79 will work) but they are few and far between. I may be dropping the big bucks on one from LMC or NPD. I've also got a bunch of weather stripping and junk like that I need to order from LMC. Maybe we could have a mini G2G when it all comes in?
So.....uhhh....Pat.....do they have 428's and junk like that laying around?
I would also like it noted that there is an Edel Streetmaster intake on EVILbay with a buy it now of $150.....it's VERY tempting.......it's either that or $300 on a Performer RPM.....anyone have any thoughts?
For sheet metal, I'd go with NPD or Dennis Carpenter First if they have what you need. LMC seems to get the really "cheap" stuff. If NPD or D.C don't have original tooling parts and you need aftermarket, I'd still go with NPD. Dennis Carpenter doesn't carry much for aftermarket.
word up homeslices! i'd b game for a mass order to lmc or npd...never really looked at dc b4 so i may have to look around to see if there's anything i'd like in there or not. i also second jakes idea of a mini g2g if and when we do this.

Thanks for the info Buck, we'll have to keep that in mind. I don't know if George has ordered from them in the past or not.
Nothing special, just a 67" Cornwell box in black. They come with all the stainless trim and stainless steel top already. I'm pretty stoked......the week is crawling.
