Man, I applaud you for modifying your exhaust,on such a new model, it takes guts when you don't know the outcome. I have read severall magazine articles
on people who have changed there 6.4 ehaust including a friend of mine, I plan to change mine, the DPF was a little extreme but I can't say I won't do the same once I make sure that the 6.4 is what It seems to be.

Dude, copy the vin# or post some pics so the beatings will stop. LOL

I bought my F250 6.4L to pull my travel trailer. I'm getting 15-15 city (if i keep my foot light) haven't pulled with it let. (only 3 weeks old) I don't understand why you want to spend 40-50 g on a truck and then spend more to do mods? What is the purpose of the mods?????I"m new to the diesal motors and would like to understand more of this.

Its the american way, more horsepower, faster light to light, ect, i thinks its all bs myself, if you need more power buy a midsize truck, if you wanna go fast buy sports car. I use mine for work and play and think it does a damn good job stock.

A guy who spends 40 to 50 grand on a the baddest diesel truck out there,(6.4) and then spends more money on mods because, HE CAN.
I also think that if you mod your truck you need to be prepaird that it could void your warranty, depending on the mod. TO EACH HIS OWN.

I am sure he is not thinking about getting his money back out of it. I don't think anybody does mods thinking it will help the value of the truck. You do them because you want/need/enjoy having them.

Well I guess i'm just a pretty stupisd old man. My insurance company USAA tells me this new F250 is the 48th new vehical i've owned since Mar 66. ( I have a new car thing) but I still don't understand why "MODS" yes i know the difference in little boys toys and big boy toys is the price of the toy, but what does the mods do for you? improve mileage? etc. I also was warned about my warrenty being void if I did any of them. Just trying to learn more about the difference in diesal from gas burner.

If you are getting 15 mpg(suspect) I would leave it alone too. My mods on my 6.0 liter gave me more power and better mileage. I tow 24000 lbs up mountains and quite frankly, I am dissapointed in the 6.4/auto. I don't know if it is the auto or the motor. When I tow the best I get is 7.8 mpg. thats half of what you get(suspect).
