better get an ice pack for that BURN!!! seriously though i don't think an IC helps THAT much... i think MAYBE 40 hp... which yeah that's noticable but that still allows pretty good numbers
dyno now and then install a nice big ic and tell me that they dont help. Cooler air is denser, or more o2 molecules per cfm. Even if you run the same boost pressure with an intercooler that you did without an ic, your hp ahead due to the fact the ic is cooling the air 200-300* maybe more. More o2 = more hp. Why dont you ask ernesteugne or what ever his name is to do a nice little calculation for you. He is very smart with that stuff and im sure he'd love to shed some light on this for you. In fact i'll shoot him a pm asking for his input.
yes, that would make it so you could do runs back to back the same day. I just sent a pm to ernesteugene asking for his input, im really curious to see how the math works out.
420rwhp was on fuel, 472rwhp on No2. I made 493rwhp with a 200 shot and open intake the week before last So im really only seein 81rwhp gain with a 200 shot, WTF is that about?
Cowboy Steve
