You get to a point when you have a pretty good idea how hard you can run something. I wasnt trying to pull 20k lbs up a mountain, mainly a lightly loaded goose neck around flat ol ks. After i got gauges i discovered that the egt's were never a problem at all.

I agree with glass. TW chips are awesome and will roll the coal when you want to and just be a normal truck if you have to.

Question

Neal did I miss something?, about what were your results with the TW 6 p chip? do you have a link of it?. And with the chip do you still have the 10K mod?. And what are the 6 positions?

Thanks.

Here is the link.
http://stores.totaldieselperformance.com/StoreFront.bok

I got:
economy- better than stock but no smoke
high idle- around 1200 RPM's
light pull
heavy pull
40-50 HP
70 HP

I still have factory injectors so that is all the power I coud get from it...for now. The 70 setting made a huge difference in the truck. If you order from him he will give you anything you want. You can custom select what you want and have him put them on the chip in the order you want.

Yes I still do have the 10K but that is just because I have been too lazy to remove it. He said that it is not necessary with his chips.

Thumbs up

OK, thanks, and what is the difference between light and heavy pull if you already have tried? what about the EGTs compared with stock? and economy gives you more MPG?

Economy does give you better MPG. I have not pulled yet. With stock injectors the EGT's are not that much different. Maybe a little higher with the 70 HP but not much. Light and heavy pull are because I told him I pull 15,000 and 6,000 lbs so he gave me both.
