Sometimes you say that speed isn't that important, often when a Ford is slower. All of a sudden, when you drive faster than somebody in their Nissan, it proves that your truck is better? Interesting logic.
Also interesting how your own Ranger needed replacing because it was rusting. Sounds more like a walnut than a bowling ball to me.
No, that person in the Nissan wont drive his truck hard with a load because he cant, risk it may break, and I sold My ranger because I needed a bigger truck. it actully had less rust then my 1998 F-150, which is very little. so your logic is nothing my Rangers still going by the way I sold it last june with 240,000 kms it now has 297,000 so dont say a thing.
I read earlier that people were talking about having a V6 in a full-size truck is laughable. My 1997 F150 would kick alot of trucks ***. I towed a 8200lbs trailer with considerable ease for a v6. Other than that i beat the heck out of that truck off-roading. SO having a V6 isn't bad if u cant afford a V8 i have a V8 now and it is superior compared to the V6 but i tell you my V6 hauled ***. too bad i traded her in, she was a good truck.
i love my 300 I6, i run the **** outta it every day any and it is a torque monster and i dont care that it dont like speed. right now it sucks the gas bad, but that happens when ya start playing with the egr and exhaust.

Glad to see another satisfied 300 owner.
I'll take longevity and durability over high HP/TQ #'s any day. Unless the high HP/TQ #'s also included the other two factos.
