wheels

Are there any other 8 lug truck wheels Ford, Dodge, Chevy that will work on my 81 F250 RWD? Could be a aluminum, chrome, something other then stock steel. Trying to buy used for now.

If it's 2wd, then yes you should have lots of choices, all the others used the same 8 lug pattern on the older trucks. I would still trial fit them though, make sure they clear the calipers and the tie rod ends, and the center hole is large enough.

I think the center hole is the main difference. Does yours have the floating rear?

I think it was 1999 Ford went to metric bolt pattern on the trucks (8 bolt). Econolines kept the same 8-6 1/2 pattern.
