My 66 is in pieces, so don't know if I will make it or not, sure would like to though, nothing better than talking about a common interest.

Scott, I think we're up to about 20 or so trucks at last count. A little difficult to get a hard number as a few have indicated they might bring a second truck. I'm estimating around 40 people. Truly astounding given the history of such attempts to organize outings such as this.

I think we may have picked up our first specialty parts provider. If I'm right - I think "wild Bill" has checked in from DFuser and is planning to come by. Hey Bill - if that's you......thanks for hooking me up with Randy! He's just what I needed - we'll talk about him more later!

Scott, don't worry about not having a truck to bring. Got a picture of it - even in pieces? After all...this is for Ford Truck Enthusiasts....nothing says you have to drive a truck to the picnic. Come join us!

Hey! DFuser! Bill - if that's you I appreciate your checking in. We look forward to having you join us.

Most Mileage, huh? Hadn't thought of that one but I like the idea. Consider it done. Something tells me you've got an old-timer there. We'd love to see her.

I haven't talked with Randy in over a week. I know he works on Saturdays but I wonder if he and Sharon would be able to get away for this one? That red monster of his would be a hit at the picnic.

Don't forget to bring some vittles fer yerself and your guests, if any.

See'ya!

Just a thought, change "Most Gauges" to "Most Functional Gauges". I've still got the oil pressure and water temp that were stockers and no longer function, so I'd not want them counting.

Hey sgreen, Taylor, TX I assume? That's where I'll be after this thing on Sat.

Okay, Pilot - that sounds reasonable - we'll make the change.

In addition.....hygrometers, hydrometers, VOMs, SWR/watt meters, soil density, EPD-Mk II, EPD-N2, GR-135, GR-179, Grid, Plate, APD2000, ANPDR77 Radiac, UDR13, pH, Gerbil stretch limit, Gas Chromatagraph Mass Spectrometers, Barometric pressure, relative humidity, Nielsen rating, M88 GID-3, PSA, B & C, Span Gas, Flux Capacitor, Warp speed, Oral or Rectal Thermometers, Rainfall, or other such gauges-----WILL NOT BE COUNTED TOWARD THE "MOST FUNCTIONAL GAUGES" AWARD!!!

By now you're thinking: "What the $#^%??? This guy is nuts!...Completely insane!....Do I REALLY want to attend this shin-dig???"

Yeah! Ya'know you wanna! Come on! It'll be fun! Just pay no attention to the man behind the curtain! He's feeling much better now.

Okay, folks...time to get real serious now. - I need your help!

My wife wants to know how many of the female persuasion will be attending our picnic.

24 of you have indicated you will attend the gathering at the dam. Please, Please, Please tell me that some of you will be bringing a humanoid of the female gender with you. Please....I beg you!

It's bad enough this is a male-dominated, bonding thing as my wife calls it...but I need to know if you're planning on bringing someone with hair longer than yours - if that doesn't work - how about someone who is wearing makeup - if that doesn't work......I give up!

Is my wife gonna be the only "girl in town"?? Please tell me it ain't so!!

Respectfully signed:

"33 years of marriage but still in trouble"
