I may be able to make it out, have to work that day, however, I may go in late or something...
Come on Randy, take the night before off and sleep in. I work the same schedule. I took off Sat. night so I could get the truck all shined up and then I'm gonna sleep in. Then go to the meet and then go to work. I saw you in your wife's truck the other day. I guess you haven't gotten your truck back on the road yet? Too bad I had my gooseneck on, I got somethin' for that red truck this time.
Anyway, take the day off man. This is gonna be fun.
The arrow is incorrect. The park is within the small oval-shaped area just under the words "Mansfield Park Dr."
Thanks for catching that, Duck!
Driving in from the north (183, 71, Round Rock, etc)? - cross the bridge at the dam then turn RIGHT onto Mansfield Park Drive. Coming in from the south (Bee Cave, Lakeway, Hwy 71)? - Don't cross the bridge...turn LEFT onto Mansfield Park Drive.
There - that should be clear as mud! I know I'm feeling much better now. Maybe I should stop sniffing DK and go back to glue.

John, I've noticed that some in FTE, especially the diesel drivers, list their mods in their signature at the bottom of each message, e.g. "Early '99 (6/98), 7.3 PSD, 118K+, ECLB, AT, 46637 filter mod, 5" MKO exhaust, AutoMeter Trans/EGT/Boost, KCM SS X-ovr, Transgo VB, Suncoast TC".
I can only assume the gassers do the same i.e. tires, exhaust, audio, etc.
You can have your very own "brag sheet" too by looking at "User CP" in the options located at the top of each page.
By the way - the sausage at Myers' in Elgin can be on the steep side - don't worry about it - I was wrong to ask.
Hey gang!.......I haven't back from any more than maybe 4 or 5 of the 91 messages I sent out to FTEs in Central Texas. Can you think of any more "Legal" ways to publicize our activity on the forum? I'm kind'a runnin' out'a ideas here.
Rubberduck, so you have that CAC installed? Dont think for a moment that I had been idle on the 6L(which is my truck, the wife has the TDI Jetta now). I have some new mods on the 6L as well, although its good that it is stock programming still(and will be forever probably). I pulled down a best of 21.1 MPG last tank. I have the speed limiter ready to go this time, so you wont walk away this time.
If/when you beat the 6L, I will have to pull out the 7.3, which I dont think you want any of.
I am going to try to make it out for a little while. I have SO much going on right now.
Next season, I want to come out and watch you at the Llano muddin. I see you posted here about it, I missed that.
Well, its nice to hear from you, look forward to talking/seeing you. I am going to New Mexico sunday for some snow skiing. so I have already taken some time from regular work off.
Greetings from MCAS Miramar, CA! MCAS Yuma, AZ next week!
Finally got to a stopping point and thought I'd check in.
Zach - we'd love to have you stop by! Would you care to share our vittles or bring your own? - your choice - you're invited. Not sure what the wife and I will be bringing just yet but you're more than welcome to have some if you'd like. Do you need more info, directions, mileages, etc? Let me know.
Corporal - I'm not sure what else I could send you although I'd be happy to send you what I've got. The map, times, date, mileages are in the thread but please let me know. If I've got it in stock...you can have it!
Better than fair response so far, gang! Looks like we're up to about 16-20 trucks so far and 20-30 folks! Still quite a few not heard from, tho. Hoping many will show up on their own.....wishing they'd check in just to let us know they're alive and show their support! Who knows what will happen? Either way: It's a "Dam" Fine Start for Central Texas!!
Don't forget to bring some grub for you, your family and friends. WHAT??? You didn't know you can bring the family??? Family, friends, your favorite parts dealer, the mechanic and/or sales person from the dealership....ALL are invited to share in the fellowship!
Please share this event with as many as you can...as often as you can - work it into conversations, tell the boss you have a family reunion to go to that hasn't met in years - tell your Ford lovin' friends you found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and you want to share your wealth with'em!
Here again are the particulars:

Well, my girlfriend definitely won't be able to make it. Probably for the best, she'd use at as leverage to make me go to something girly. She's about as interested in trucks as a cat is in broccoli. Is my dog welcome? She's not going to attack anybody or anything, she's well behaved.
hey clif man i have some of my very own homemade pork sausage that i dont mind sharen with a couple people, the only downside is i dont think i can feed the whole group with the amount of links i can bring.
