I was searching the web in order to find some information about the towing weight of my F150
Whe I searched on F130 , I came on this forum and it seems the F130 is not a regular F150.
I still hope someone can help me with some information.
To get a notification on the Dutch title for the towing weight , the DMV there wants to see some official document what shows the towing capacity or the GCWV .
on my Tag and sticker on the door and pillar they don't mention it.
Does anybody has it on his title or on a build sheet from the F130 ?
So the GVWR is 6150lbs, but they want to know the rated combined weight? Meaning total of the vehicle AND trailer?
Hmm, I wonder if that was a commonly documented item back then? Probably, in the form of "towing capacity" (leaving you to do the math for the combined weight, but you have to know how much the truck weighs) and probably in the range of 6000 to 8000 lbs back then I would think. And if so, one of the members here will have some printed material on it for you to use I'm sure.
Or I'm hoping at least!
Thanks for the picture of your title,
doesn't it have any weight by the GCWR , or on the white sticker on your B pillar ?
The gross weight is for the truck alone I guess , without trailer
Dutch, would this be helpful? It's listed in the owner's manual of my 77 model, and I would think the numbers for a 76 would be the same. Of course, there's no column of data specific to an F130, but since the truck is badged as an F150, then I would think the data in the F150 would apply for what you need. If you do not have your owner's manual, and they insist on seeing the info in the book instead of a photo on the internet, then maybe you could acquire a manual on ebay and bring it to the registration people.
It might be informative to compare the VIN on the warranty plate with the VIN stamped on the frame. Wire brush that area of the frame top rail on the passenger side right under the alternator on a V8.
