harnesses are in and mounted....all the bellhousing bolts are in along with the tranny dipstick tube....was going to start on the tranny shifter but i just noticed it didnt come with a shifter cable....and its supposed to...so i will return it tomorrow and likely pick a shifter up from summit
tried to put the tranny cooler lines in but they dont fit...even with alot of persuasion...plus the fittings are the wrong size...i guess its off to the local junkyards saturday to find something that fits
cooler and lines for tranny are all hooked up, fan on cooler is wired, tranny crossmember has a peice of 1/4 thick 6" pipe fabbed where the driveshaft goes through. all shifters and linkages are adjusted and working, fresh oil in both t-cases....tranny is full..
Front and rear driveshafts are made..
I have to make a crossmember for the doubler (at least ive heard its bad to run without one)
Have to weld rear shock mounts on and bolt shocks on
run the tranny temp gauge i have
reinstall floorpan over tranny(maybe...it may be left off for a heater)
grease everything
bolt toolbox down
if i have time ill take a few leaves out of the rear springs
i drove it back and forth in the barn for about 15 mins tonight testing out front and rear high and low, as well as low and high on the 203, plus checking out all the gears and doing front and rear burnouts
i would have took it out of the barn and drove it outside some....but i have to let the air out of all the tires to get it out

hell no, i aint got time....I got a ride on friday i got to make....you dont roll there unless your being a complete idiot anyway
And even if you do.....the way the trails are the worst that coudl happen is you end up flopping into some trees
The truck keeps looking better all the time. I bet not too much is left of the original truck except for the frame at this point. Are you planing to do an exo cage or an internal cage when you have the time.
I may borrow some of your ideas for my 77 in the future when hit warms up here. Single digit highs make it a little hard to work outside. I haven't even had time to try out my 8lug conversion and 38's yet.
Make sure to get some action pictures this weekend and let us know how everything worked.
