Headin' out to my Truck an gettin the bottle of Morgan
BTW - I absolutely beat the living **** out of my truck today, nothing broke. I was kinda dissappointed. We had 40+ mph winds blowing all the snow around, I went an opened up all the minimum maintaince roads, did a few hill climbs, and some other stupid **** (chased a coyote across a field doing probably 50).
I need some rocks so I can find a way to snap that LP44 front!
I would in a heartbeat if it wasn't 1300 miles (just a guess) and I had a diesel to tow it with. I think my 5.4 would give out about halfway there! LOL
if you can go sink a large tractor in the mud at the bottom of a hill....pull your truck down the hill with the nose downhill and hook to the tractor and attempt to yank it out in reverse....that usually busts something up front
i drove it to the gas station tonight...got some odd looks and the fire depertment guy thought it was cool...but he asked me where the rest of my truck went....
I definitly like the auto...it shifts awesome...visabiltiy is awesome....now i just want to drive it in the daylight
Well I did it guys. Me an a buddy went out snowbogging for a few hours this evening. We got a mile from my house an decided to climb a real steep bank with about 2ft of crusted snow up it. I got up to the top and just got my front tires over the ledge and SNAP. Front d-shaft went bye bye. I thought I blew up my front axle at first, couldn't get that lucky! I am really good at breaking 1/2 ton d-shafts anyway!
