We definately need Kubota to post up pics of his flatbed. I might be flatbedding out a pickup this winter sometime......Got a line on a '79 Crew Cab, rust free, but its the Cab only......So I might be making a frame, finding a front clip, and then flatbedding 'er out........

Yeah I hear ya....The little stuff is what really eats up time. Running Brake lines took more time than I expected, fuel line, etc.

well i just have the shorten the line going to the rear hose cause the axles moved foward....have to tap into the fuel line already on the frame for my 30 gallon fuel tank i used to have ...have the ford hard tranny cooler lines

thanks for the compliment, it sounded alot better before i took the lumpy cam out of her...i have a random video my girlfriend took of the axle wrap when it still had the lumpy cam....just iddling and above idle

...maybe i should stick it back in since i have an auto now

axle is is mounted up with 120" wheelbase

ladder bar is mounted to cab crossmember via new bracket...

hacked frame off right behind the shackle brackets on the rear(gas tank had to be removed obviosly...) To give and idea...the is about 7 inches behind the crossmember in front of the gas tank that chunk of frame along with my bumper had to weigh 150 lbs at least

i am very pleased...looks awesome with the new shortened frame and shorter wheelbase

now on to shortening the rear brakeline and slapping some shocks on the rear

then comes the flatbed, gas tank, toolbox and rails

it really looks like something has been done now...
