i have no tranny tcase or rear axle in the truck now...i was going to inboard the rear leaves....but i just decided that it will be just as much work to do a rear 4 link....what do yall think??
im trying to do some research on what coilovers to buy and approximatly what spring rates to look for
yall think heims on both ends of the links or bushings/heims?
anyone have some input on dom sizes/wall thickness?

I think you should definitely 4-link it. I have also been kicking around the idea of 4-linking my 70 in the rear. I was just going to use plain coils, heims on both ends, same wheelbase with zero departure angle and flatbed it. So do yours 4-link and post pics so I can get some ideas. Looks good.

ive been kicking the 4 link flatbed idea around forever now
after some thinking and measuring along with bsing with a buddy tonight i decided i am going to keep the 121 wheelbase but for now just move my outboard leaves foward and take out a few leaves...that way i can be done this week. and move on to the flatbed, mounting the fuel tank, hacking the frame and moving the ladder bar and possbile exhaust issues etc....hell its hard enough to have time to work on the rig working 60-80 hrs a week as a construction superentendant
then i can concentrate on the tranny and doubler setup and the odds and ends that go with that like tranny crossmembers.....all to make sure i can be ready for the ride in feb....after all the whole reason i do this is to wheel and theres not that many rides like this every year...
In the mean time i can research the 4 link, save money up and get all the parts to do the 4 link right the 1st time...plus the axle will already be in place and it will be much easier to set everything up having the axle where it needs to be already
if anybody cares i will get some pictures of the progress up as i move along with my crappy digi cam...my main goal for this week is to get the rear susp back together with the 121" wheelbase and get the flatbed at least mocked up...hopefully i will have some time after work...
i figure if im going to 4 link it i may as well make it worthwhile and do it right the first time with coilovers etc....i dont want to rush it and have to doit over again
maybe i can borrow cutt's bender for a few things if i need it
btw, you better have your junk ready for the feb ride CUTTS!!!!!

Lol, i was actually going to do a complete 4 link on my truck, front and rear, then i realized tthat it was going to cost a alot of money (100 bucks for the hiems i wanted to use (16 total), then the 2.5x.5" and 2"x 3/8" dom link bars and the bing bing 18" travel king coilovers, so i've decided to go with a tubular radius arm setup front and rear with big hiems at the frame mount and bushing at the axle and custom cut axle brackets that along with the design i came up with for the radius arms in autocad should minimize the bind hopefully.
