ramboss...i cant take many pics...my digi camera only has an 8 meg card and will only take like 20 pics before the alkaline AA batteries run out...i will get some when i get the flatbed on...hopefully that will bethis weekend
good progress for what little time i have after work each day...after i ge through eatin im gonna head back up to the sop and see what else i can get done
got the flatbed welded on tonight...finish welded the ladder bar mount and started on the rails...got the driverside tacked up..
i plan to do the same on the pas. side as well as one across the front....then the 30 gallon round fuel tank thats 29" wide goes in the front against the cab...not sure where ill mount the toolbox yet
im looking foward to the huge loss of weight and the awesome visibilty...i know the 8" high rails look a little high...but i wanted them a little high t help keep junk on the truck.
I think the rails would look alot better at about 4" high
Man it was pain getting that bed centered up perfectly and all the little square tube mounts made ande welded up....as well as fitting that mig gun in those tight spots
sorry for the crappy pictures..the shop was full of smoke...i have a junky 50 dollar digi cam that i bought off ebay 4 yrs ago and the AA batteries were dieing
got my block plate in today as well ;D
it doesnt seem like im getting much done 3 hours a night but im moving kinda steady :P
Looks great Kubota. What are the dimensions of all your steel. As in how wide and long is the flatbed? Is that 2'' flat stock on the side. Good to see you are making progress.
i suck with a mig...but i dont think i will have a problem with welds breaking...im hoping it helps to stiffen the frame....
man, shut the hell up! you dont give yourself enough credit! you sure seemed to be welding pretty good when i brought my miller 210 over for that exhaust work!
speakin of, i needa get over there and make sure you got going again! also to get that reamer i may need it again to ream some more of my pitman arm!
