I used SS braided line(racing stuff for any fuel)
-6AN size(nominal 3/8" ID) with 350F heat handling and real high pressure. Looks REAL nice...doesn't rust. I got the swivel fittings making it easier to run line and set up in the tight valley space. The external reg gives precise control of FP.
I'll have some pictures for everyone soon.

Did you get the SS braided line from Jegs too?? I'd like to see some pics of your system.
Kwik's design is effective and cheap...probably less than $75.
My design allows enough head room to grow into down the road if i want to upgrade to bigger injectors. I used SS braided line(racing stuff for any fuel)

I was looking at that SS braided line also. I'm not really familiar with that type of line and fittings so I need to do a bit of research but I think it would look good, can't wait to see your pics!
I used Jeg's -6AN SS braided fuel line and their matching black swivel fittings.
Real nice looking stuff. The adapters are blue. I combined Kwik's and Diesel Innovations design/installation instructions. Made measurement/plannig routing less tedious. I also added heat shield sleeve over the line where it came close to the exhaust/turbo( $15/3ft at local performance shop). This guy wanted
$6.50/ft for equivalent fuel line.Jeg's was $36/10ft! I'll take it!

So how exactly do those swivel fittings from Jegs work? Do you just cut the hose to length, push the hose in, and tighten down the nut on the fitting? Kind of like a compression fitting?
A couple other questions. Did you modify the fittings on the factory fuel bowl? And how did you tie into the factory return line?
Why Thank U Sir! Did some reading at Russell performance web site. http://www.russellperformance.com/
This line is trickle down technology from the military/aerospace,like so much of everything, and is heavily used in racing. The fittings can be reused and are expensive. Double the price if u need a hose end that's bent say 45 or 90 degrees compared to straight stuff.

That stainless braid does look good!!
U get the hose with both ends taped. Start with a fitting at one of the taped ends. Remove the outer cable nut from the flow thru screw first...then screw it on over the tape CCW...this is what screwed me up first. The nut just threads right over the braided SS and eventually butts up against the inide hose. Then u screw the flow thru screw/nut combo into the center threaded hole in the outer
braid nut u just installed...it's actually pretty easy once u get the hang of it.
WOW i love the looks of that line! The flow thru screw compresses against the rubber line and the outer nut. Awesme seal!. The swivel joint just swivels 360 degrees to make install easy. Using oil to lube the inside of the hose helps screwing in the flow thru screw. They also make special fitting wrenches so u won't scratch up the hose end nuts. Watch that SS braid you'll draw blood working with the hose the first time.

Reason: correction
I was looking at the Diesel Innovation directions like you said. Would you mind posting a part list of the fittings and everything? Sorry for the dumb request but as I've said before this mod freaks me a little bit and all the info I can obtain will get me to eventually give it a shot.
Orezona...i have the luxury of time because i have another commute vehicle...less stress and plenty of answers to questions at the FTE site.
I bought some stuby open end combo metric wrenches for the tight spots.
Think it thru and u won't have any problems...just talkes planning AND patience(my one weak point).

Can't remeber of the top of my head...i just brought the stock reg parts with me to insure a fit. No leaks so far...and i'm crazy about checking. Used good teflon pipe dope for engine adapter fittings and some teflon yellow tape for the return line fittings and pressure gauge.

Are you at all concerned with air being trapped in the factory fuel filter bowl near the top?
no. I believe that the ITP setup is the same it just looks llike their adapter uses the stock regulator but after studying it closely i don't think it does. I think it's
a convenient mount spot for the return line from their reg. It disables the stock reg and seals it off. Different mounting style.
