Halleluiah, This sounds like fun!

Well hello to all,

First my apologies for not being on the site for quite some time... I have recently had a baby and with the holidays and all. She's 4 months old now, where does the time go...

Second, this sounds like a wonderful idea. I have spent many summers of my life down at the lake! One or two day event is fine with me... Also the fifth will work out great. So count me in... Hope to see you all there!

Does everyone want to plan on bringing their own food or do we want to collect money and have someone take care of getting food for the everyone?

I can go either way on this but it may be better if everyone brings their own stuff.

ford_truck_man do they have bbq pits at the pavilion?

I can go both ways on bringing your own or one person do the shopping. What I can do to help let me know.

They do have a pretty big BBQ Pit there for 20-25 people for burgers.

I can't find a web site for this place, yet.I will call them and find out for you. This place does not have any sleeping area's. What type of place's is everyone looking for? I can set you guy's up on anything your looking from Hotels, Motels, Camping, or Bed and Breakfasts. Feel free to e-mail me or pm me and I'll help you out. Just let me know what I can do to help everyone out.

I can take care of the campers and the outdoors man for free. But there are plenty of other things there, too!!! So feel free to let me know what you are looking for.

Just an idea there is a place that rents out house boats for weekends that sleep 10 or 15 people if anyone is interested? I'd join if anyone is interested.

So like I said what you want I can help.Just let me know.

I'll tell you all there is plenty of stuff to do. The only idea I have after our 1st KC area meeting is let's all get together and set up something that Everyone Wants to do. So feel free to ask me ?'s and I'll help you out. I just want a success for the Mo chapter. We are a little behind the Kansas chapter because there older but not necessarily better. lolololo
