So, I live in Maryville but I'm from Jefferson city area. Now my ride... I have a 76 F150 4x4. It has a 390 that is 30 over and a mild cam. It has an aluminum edelbrock intake and a 650 holley street avenger carb.
It has headers and true 3" duals to turn downs behind the cab.
I Also have an after market ignition system and over sized after market coil pushing through 8.8mm wires.
Then It has a NV4500 5 speed tranie mounted that came out of a 2000 dodge cummins 2500. Then it goes to a rebuilt factory transfer case that has been synchronized.
I have a limited slip 9 inch rear-end with 3.50 gears. Then the factory Danna 44 up front. Then I put 33 12.5 on 18" tires under it all.
Lets just say that I a ford man 100%. My brother and I we have 5 fords between the 2 of us here in town (75 F250 highboy, 76 f150 4x4, 87 tempo, 98 f150 4x4, 98 escort). And We have talked all of our friends into getting old 4x4 fords of their own. the more the better!!

DRoc0507 welcome to the Missouri chapter, sounds like a true Ford family, just the way we all like it. But I am 99 2500 Dodger too, love the torque rattle tow monster!

I grew up there and my parents live in Holts Summit. But, I have been in Maryville the past 4 years going to school.
But, we are always picking up trucks and parts from the area. Picked up a 68 f100 4x4 for my buddy that was originally sold from a Jeff City dealer. My brothers 75 f250 highboy came from there too. Just makes a good excuse to make it back down.

Ya I have been talking a lot on the FE and Ft big block v8 thread on gas mileage told people how good I get with that transmission and they just think it is the greatest thing that they have ever heard. lol I wouldn't trade it for anything. I have destroyed my fly wheel and pressure plate( warped, bad hot spots, and cracked) exploded my 9" rear end, I have worked on almost every aspect of my old truck except the for the transmission it's self.
I live in Grovespring mo. It's a little town about 20 miles south of Lebanon mo. I'm 32, female and married. I train and show horses. My husband is a certified Harley technition currently working in the factory. We can't make it on harley wages. I have always loved ford trucks. I grew up in ford trucks and this is my first diesel. When I was a kid my dad's friend had one of theese trucks in '87 and I fell in love with it. I've been dreamin about owning one of the babies ever since.I got sooo lucky. This truck is almost completely restored and I have all the details on anything ever done to this truck. My neibor traded me the truck for 1/2 an acre of land. Can't wait for the rain to quit so I can start pullin' the ponies.
