My name is Kris. I live in Kansas City and work at a cabinet shop / store fixture manufacturing company.
I worked from 1989 - 2003 in the car audio industry and know 'a little' about the subject. I won two USAC world titles in 97' & 98', and had a sound pressure vehicle that presured over 172db. So if the need ever arrises, I can probably help out.
Actually no, just up the street. Winntech is the place.
Haven't heard of that one. They got a website? We're getting ready to purchase more display cabinets and another register cabinet. Got anything like those??

Hello, I'm Josh. I live outside of KC, North. I have never owned a truck before, so I am more familiar to cars than trucks, but after a very bad wreck with my car, this is a change that has been good so far. My main area of emphasis is electronics, with a degree in electronics engineering technology. Anything that deals with audio or aftermarket equipment in vehicles is my specialty. I also build and design a lot of odd electronic things, so maybe over time I can be able to hepl people on this forum when it comes to electronics. I help a lot of my friends daily.
I found this site originally by googling a search for the frequency that Ford RKE transmitters transmit on.
My truck -
2000 F-150 Extended Cab w/Lariet V8
Only mods so far are Chrome 18s
I have peeked under the hood, but the engine in this truck is not like my car's. It may also be because its a newer vehicle, and on even newer ones, they do even more wierd things. I definently have a lot of new things to learn, but its been good so far.
BePro, you have a very good start on things concerning the diagnostics and repair of these vehicles. When you start ford training, they have you first take an electronics course, the thinking is if you dont understand electronics, you have no business in the rest of it. We welcome your input.
