I will be there before noon and i'll have a pull type camper that i'm buying it'll sleep 4 if ya share the beds maybe 6 i think the table converts into a bed.
Thomas where will you be at with the camper. I'm planning on pulling our old 5th wheel up there also. We can set up an FTE "compound." I would like to be somewhere with electricity if available as my furnace doesn't work right now. Then I can use electric space heaters. I'm a wimp and like to keep warm, not tough like somebody else we know that likes it cold.
I'll be at Fancy Creek back in behind where the Host sets up they have Electric hook-ups there. I'll make a sign and put out where everyone can see it.
They have what is sometimes called a lunch box locker for that. Lock Right and Quick Lock to name just two. Those are the least expensive. Power Trax has a no spin also that is a lot more complicated in it's parts and cost. I ran Lock Rights front and rear for years. I have one in the front of "Mule". I would still have one in the rear if it weren't for the trouble I had in Wyoming last summer. Couldn't figure out what the problem was so I tried taking it out.
Lock Right is the name brand I like to pay a little more to get. But they are only said to be used with 33's or smaller tires.
For a little more the Detroit Tru Trac is a gear biasing limited slip. Thats what I am running in the back of "Mule" now. It is smoother and I like it. It does not have any clutches to wear out so it will work just as well next year in Colorado as it did this year. You could just pull your open carrier and pull your ring gear and install it on the Tru Trac carrier with new bearings and through it back in. I'd sure have someone check it for back lash and run a parrtern though.
The Lock Right and Quick Lock and Power Trax no spin replaces you spider and side gears and reuse you current differential so there is no need to check set up. There may be at least one other brand name lunch box locker out there.
Just boils down to cost and if you can live with a locker in the back or not.
