If you have pulled the cover and are pretty sure it's just the spider and side gears I have a set out of my 96. Pulled them when I put in the Lock Right and they are in good shape.

I checked and as I remember a dana 44 is a dana 44 as far as internals went. You can do a search on dana parts if you want to make sure. Should be the same part number for my 96 IFS spider and side gears as it is for yours. If not let me know.

Tom if you look up the spider and side gears for a 96 IFS Dana 44 Bronco it is the same part number D44BI-30 as you will get if you look up the same part for a dana 44 in a 76 F-250. Sounds like they should work.

Speaking of spider gears, I don't like how my Spider gears move around. I think they would get dizzy after a while. I think I'll weld mine in place. I wonder if the 7.5 axles will take it with 35's?

I agree! Can't have dizzy gears now can we. Weld em or get rid of them. Only one way to know for sure.

Heck Tony what do you have to lose, you are planning on changing them out anyway. If they work then great you'll get around even easier and if they break, well you know it's time to upgrade. LOL
