I do lots of cooking at home and used to do a fair bunch of campfire cooking in the past. It has just been a while on the campfire stuff. I wouldn't attempt chili, cuz I know I can't out do Jack.
Actually my chili catches a lot of flack in other circles because it has no Tomatoes or Beans. My brother even likes corn (instead of corn meal I guess) in his chili.
But I'm into the old west stuff and the chili I make is in line with that. Just my flavor I guess.
We could do a stew like we did at the muzzle loading shoots that I used to go to, where everyone contributes to the stew pot. The trouble is that it was rumored a few times that we were eating Fido and a little road kill. It was mighty tasty stew though, but we just didn't know for sure what was in it.
Arrrggg, Yes I should do that also. I asked the guys here about getting me a driveshaft but the were clueless on anything but the CV style. They were asking what supplier or brand it was.
Tony, do you have a good machine shop around there. They can build a drive shaft. I know there is one here in Manhattan that will do it. Also, did you see the 4x4 show on tv that showed them making drive shafts out of square tubing. Not for an onroad application, but would work off road. Lots of farm equipment that runs off a PTO uses square power shafts.
There is a place over in Topeka that specializes in drive shafts. I have had them do work before. I figured on using them when I started switching suspensions for those special needs. lol
I got online they had different lenghts if I remember corretly there is like metal ring on the top and bottem of the popp shaft and you measure in between those rings.
