Thanks but I just got 220 installed and I've been dying to make some sparks. I used to weld the spyders on the derby cars with the welder hooked up to the dryer plug in. It was only 30 amps and I couldn't turn the welder up much. Now I have a 50 amp breaker and plug and haven't had a chance to use it yet. Someday a plan on joining the real world and get a mig.
Rollie, you'll enjoy the mig. I have one and I can even weld with it. Used to use stick on the farm, but the chickens even gathered around and laughted at my beads cuz it looked like they had been there. Did you order it with gas or just flux core? Gas is a lot cleaner for sheet metal.
Great!! You'll get a lot of good use out of it. Also, those boys will have fun with it too. What kind did you get? I have a Century 155, but would have liked to have gotten a Lincoln or Miller, but couldn't afford it, plus I got this one for cheap on sale several years ago. Not much aftermarket/tech support for the Century. Nothing on the net whereas the others have good web sites etc.
I'll bring my dutch ovens,....... if someone wants to cook. If Clint has to work we won't be down till Saturday night. Let me check and see if I have charcoal left and maybe a cake tin or two. If someone would like to pick up a can of fruit pie filling and a small Jiffy white cake mix I can mix it up. A stick of margarine makes it better but is not necessary.
If jack is bringing the utensils, may the rest of us that show up could provide the goods, i.e. food, charcoal etc. It's great of Jack to furnish the food like he did last time, but???
Thats a good point Del, we should bring the food this time. Jack was great to do it last time but thats to much for to expect from him. Although it might be nice if he cooks, I haven't had you cooking Del. LOL
It's not that bad to do a little cobbler. I was just giving Tony a little ribbing (barbeque ribbs ). But I do enjoy setting around the campfire and just kicking back So any help would be welcome. I would be "Happy" to teach anyone who wants to learn. Or learn from someone else.
