Ok I know it's only been a week but has anyone thought about another trip to Tuttle? If we plan ahead maybe it will be easier for people to get the time off and be able to make it. I agree with Jack though it should be in a little cooler weather. It just got plain hot down there last weekend.
Lets hear what the others think on dates and such.
Another thing would be another ORV area. If someone has ideas where else would be fun to go lets hear them too.
Ok you think not I will have it going in no time now that the weather is cooling off.Got part of the exhaust parts today so that was one of the big things left. The rest is a piece of cake. That is if the engine will actually run afterwards.
As far as places to wheel full size 4x4's, Tuttle is the only place that I know of in KS that is free of charge.
KS Rocks is down neat Ft. Scott and is private owned and they charge you a fee to use the area.
The same with Cat House Recertation area out west near Dighton, KS.
Little Sahara Park down just south of Waynoka, OK is a sand dune area and shown in my wipe out vid. It charges a daily fee and you must have a flag at least 10 feet high.
All of the other ORV areas in KS are for motorcycles and atv's. They have width restrictions that keep full size vehicles out.
Now much of Colorado and Utah is free to wheel and camp in.
I thought Rollie was having a work party to get his running. Rollie did you find the bracket for the linkage. But Rollie's red truck was not keeping the battery charged any way.
