We didn't get all that much rain here in Manhattan, so unless we get a bunch between now and the 22nd things should be good to go. I'm trying to talk the son in law into bringing his Scout, but he is dragging his feet. And thats after he fixed the holes in the floor of the truck. hehe.
Yes Jack I got it to work. I had to add the way points from the delorme then put them to the GPS then upload back to the delorme. A little work but was able to make it work.
Correction.. Delorme will not reconize my GPS but Rollie did say that he was able to load the tuttle routes to his GPS or something like that. I should shut up. lol I ended up getting Mapsend Topo for mine.
Tony, you have to go to GPS on the bottom, then exchange button, then device setup, then device. Scroll down to Magellan. Also make sure your unit is set on 4800 baud or it won't find it.

I'm double checking help now.
You must have it set on 4800 baud, like I said in other post. Had the same trouble because mine was set on higher speed. Once changed it to 4800 it was fine.

And they are pretty cheap also. The 4.0 is a lot better for what I do in Colorado and Utah and they really went down in price since the 5.0 has been out. Most folks I know have gone back to the 4.0 after using the 5.0 for a while. Just do a search for Delorme and you will find a bunch of places that are selling brand new for a few $$$'s. Or they are on e-bay also.
