the most power you could get with just a cam, intake, exhaust and 800 holley is maybe 550 horse and that would take a lot of port work on the stock heads and it wouldnt be very streetable because of the huge cam required to make over 1 hp/ci. 550 horse would give you about a 13 second quarter with proper gearing and weight distributon to get it to hook up properly
This might make everyone with a 460 feel better, to get back to the MPG question. My stock 2000 F150 4.6 5 speed gets 13 MPG average. And it AINT no 460! That is for sure.
