Good to have found this site!
I own a 1974 Ford B-700, Bluebird Bus. What’s cool about this one is that it is one of the few remaining 4 wheel drive units that were made for the construction of the Alaska Pipeline.
I’ve converted it to a motor home, and gone thru the entire Rockwell/ Marmon Herrington drive train. I’m putting a roller cam 429 in front of an Allison 545, 4 speed by February 2008, as soon as I finish my degree. I’ve got all the parts, the engine is in the machine shop being built.
The only thing, I am having a terrible time finding Medium Duty truck fenders. They have to be from 1973 to 1979, from any Ford truck bigger than a 1 ton, say F-450, 500, 550; all the way to dump truck and or buses.
I need some straight ones, and a little surface rust is okay because the whole 32 foot bus is going to be repainted. I'm going to post this in the classifieds also.
I need them shipped to Fairbanks Alaska. I would like to talk or e-mail anyone that needs a digital pic of what they look like, I can send a couple to their e-mail or over this site. I still don’t know for sure how this site works. But here’s my phone number to discuss this over the phone if it is easier.

Please leave a message, I will definitely return calls that leave a message concerning these fenders.
Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered and have a great day.
Good to see *******, Greythorne and Arctic have taken reins on their regions. I still have not gotten my laptop configured to get on the FTE chat. I was also on a 2 week vacation to get prep for winter. I have to move the 5ther and then my chores are done and it can snow all it wants. I to am itching to go riding.
Welcome to the new members. As mentioned we have been SLOW around here this summer. Hopefully we can pick it up this winter and go from there.
Chris. Are you back from VA yet? Toga party on the 3rd at my house. Paying tribute to Animal House if you are interested. Keg from Mooses Tooth. Give me a call...

Hey all the Air Force moved me and my family to Alaska about a year ago. I own a 2004 F-150. Just got done installing a 6" lift on it last weekend. Used to be quite active with the Ford Truck World California chapter when I lived there. But that site is getting more and more stupid every day. So here I am looking to spend some time with others who share my love of Ford trucks. Look forward to meeting some of y'all soon.
Hello, I am Eero Walli. Have been a Ford enthusiast a longtime now. Entire family owns Fords. Currently I have two 1988 F-250 4x4 7.3L Diesels. One is my beach/wood/hunting truck which needs lots of work and the other is my daily driver which is in excelent shape. Both have been great trucks. My wife drives a AWD Freestyle. A real good little car never really took off with people though. My folks have 1 2005 F350SD, 1 2001 Explorer, 1 1997 F-150 and an older Taurus. My big sister has two Explorers and my little sister has a 2005 F-150 her husband has a 1988 F-150.
I live in Ninilchik , my family homesteaded the area in 1893. I work in Valdez as a Tugboat Captain currently the Skipper of the Tug Stalwart.
I'm always looking for some more trucks with the 7.3L IDI in them. Also 78-79 Ford Highboy to work on.
Well...I'm new to this sit...I am just saying hi to everyone! My name is Danny and I drive one of two Explorers in Anchorage thats has Ford Harley Davidson Flames on it...The other is my room mate...But yes I drive a 2000 Ford Explorer Pearl White...
Hello Danny, I new as well. Found the forum back in September but didn't have a whole lotta time to hang out. Now that I'm back at work I have plenty of time.

Hi Guys and welcome. I will be in town the 27 and leaving the 28. I'll be at the Holiday Inn so if anyone would like to get together for dinner give me a call.
Hi I'm Kris from Chugiak Alaska, originally St.Louis MO, I am quite fond of my 89 Bronco ( Full Size ) and any Ford in general ( except the Granda ) I'm a mechanic, work in Palmer for Midas. I want to organize a stampede if anyone is interested for Broncos, kind of a parade/swap meet. Anywho thats me , now I'm off to ask for advise on the wife's Areostar need to remove the 4.0 and I'm scared! It's scary if even a wrench is scared of a repair!
