That meet-up was interesting. We are all adjusting to the area. I think I fit in here very well. Nobody cares that my truck is loud and I like to have fun in it. If I want to have a little fun in the parking lot at the store, others join in. I can work on my truck and make lots of noise and no one will tell me to stop. Besides that, we have 4 people in our house with December birthdays. All the Christmas decor works for us. When you have special people in your household, they LOVE it that Santa lives close by.

Hi all! I'm new to the forums. I live in the Palmer area and have an F250 Superduty with the V10. I thought it would be nice to have a place to discuss issues more specific to our trucks in the frozen north. I'm also into home brewing, so you might see me on BrewTalk.
hey folks. my name is blaize potts. i live in kodiak where i work for the coast guard. by day i'm an AMT on the HH-65 helicopter. i enjoy working on and modding my truck with the rest of them. i've got an '02 F350 CC 4x4 LB SRW with 307,000 mi.. i bought the truck in south florida while stationed in miami and it then had 264,000 on it. everything was stock and original back then. i've upgraded her a little bit with tires, exhaust, intake, stancor GPR, HPx, regulated return kit, pre-fuel pump filter, in-tank mod, melling oil pump, 2.5" leveling kit, and firestone airbags... she's a great truck. not many options for getting her worked on here on the island so i tackle all the work. i'm on the site very frequently learning bits as pieces as i go. just did an oil change and went from rotella T 15w-40 to rotella T6 5w-40. also noticed my dipstick flange is leaking. ordered parts via guzzles website.
a pleasure to be here and not sure why i never checked alaska's chapter before...
take care
Welcome Guys. Congrats on the win there b. It's good to see a working truck win instead of the trailer queens that mostly do. I thought I had the win so I quit trying to drum up votes. Ya beat me by one vote. Good job. Next time I will enter the Rusty Red Ranger.
Hey all, I live in Palmer, commute to Los Anchorage daily.. Drive a '89 F350 CC diesel. Nice to meet everybody.. good website, lots of great info and tips about my old IDI!

I've lived in wasilla for nearly 3 years, and plan to be here for awhile. I clean carpets for a living and tinker with my truck in the 5 min a month that i have between work, remodling my house and chasing my kids.
