The dreaded upcoming spark plug change. I haven't done it yet, but based on the reports from others, I expect it to be a PIA.
The wipers rattle at highway speeds.
No manual transmission option for the 5.4L.
Everything else has been perfect.

no manual locking hubs...stupid vacuum crap always leaking SOMEwhere.
gas pedal doesn't extend down far enough towards the floor.
what IS that crazy hole in the dash for???
my '06 stx s-cab is not the big strong battleship that the '92 was, but the sound system is way better (until the CD player gets hot and starts skipping) and anti-lock brakes are are nice.

after reading all these compliants i dont even wanna post mine. but here u go, ashtray rattle/vibrate on my 05 fx4 with console shifter. i keep it open and no rattle. anybody else have this issue, an how did u fix it

WHAT??????????? Your 06 isn't as tough as your 92??? I owned both a 95 and 05's and 07......and the new one is WAY WAY WAY tougher than the old ones were.....from the axles...to the frames....to the bodies and engines.....
What hole are you asking about???
