I don't like the sun visors. They are too short when turned to the side window. That was one thing I liked about the Ram when I was shopping. Chrysler visors have a sliding mechanism. My F150 has about a 6" gap and it always seems that the sun is coming right through it. Storage is also not very good compared to the Ram. Otherwise love it.
Im not liking the way the drivers side wiper doesnt cover the entire side of the windshield, it stops short about 2" too soon. really nice when covered with snow, you almost have to slide over to see out.
The front brake dust is driving me nuts. And I can`t figure out how to beat the seatbelt alarm. That`s why I came here.Anyone know the fix for these 2 probs?Just got a new 2004 FX4,I really like the truck.traded a 95F-150 SC,with 160,000 on it.
Jim...
The alarm could be shut down by having the truck in park and turnned off, turn the ignition to the on (not start) position and wait till the restraint light goes out, then take the seat belt and click it in and out 9 times, you will see the restraint light blink a few times then click the seat belt in and out one more time, wala! the seat belt alrm is off for that seat. I believe you must do the same thing for the passenger seat.

ummm... In my truck the seatbelt light will not 'go out' unless you buckle up. The procedure sounds easy but it doesn't work because the first step never happens (at least for me).
The light does go out but takes a few minutes, This procedure is in the manual that is supplied with your vehicle. this is how i found out how to disarm it. sorry if the procedure i told is wrong, but i just did it a few days ago and am pretty sure that its right. any doubts check the manual, thats what its for.
Turn signal arm is at the 10:30 position, but I would like it at around the 9-9:30 position. Also would like the hi/low beam to be a toggle and not a push for high beam and pull for low.
I also agree with the gripe on the headrests. I'm 6'3" and neither the high or low position on the head rest works very well for me.
Other than that, the truck as been great!
