phastalon welcome to the night crew. Where I'm at we have the option of staying if we want to. I know a lot of places where the only option is to stay and stay late because the daywalkers are not bright enough to set there clocks ahead of time. OR are they just inconsiderate. You know they are reminded ahead of time to set their clocks.

Everything will be just fine.......Peppy's here.
Sorry......carry over from another conversation.

Working another hour.......dedicated employees do whats best for the company.....work that extra hour for free.

Or, make it up on your time sheet thru the week.

In my high stress job enviroment.....heavy work load, and complaining customers and employees...I do whats best.
Damn I'm in a mood.

Just spent my night watching 'Die Another Day' Damn I work too hard.

Hey ya Mike.....nah....just watchin DVD's at work. Kinda lost track of time.
Todays been a good day. Got my trucks timming all set and good. Got 4 hours sleep. Came to work. Had a nice conversation. Had Chilis for dinner. Talked to my wife on the phone, and she was nice. Not sure what that means. All in all......nothin really happened...how much better does it get.

Any body suffering from damage night? That is tonight, right?
It was a calm night. Had a unit hit a deer. No damage, we have deer killers on the trucks.
Funny though, they were enroute to assist another crew treating a guy who also met a deer, but he was on a bike. Ouch!

How do you function on 4 hours of sleep? I could not do it......thinking back a few years..... I do remember a few, very few nights that I got zero sleep and then went to work the next day. I had an important mission. Of course I was a useless zombie for the entire day.

Thats my norm...4 hours.
If I'm off, and its a good night.....I'm sleepin 8-10 hours.
I take these nice multi-vitamins. If it werent for those...I'd never make it...oh, and a pot of coffee a night.
Since I'm workin 6 12-14 shifts a week now.......I'm gettin older by the minute, but they O/T helps.
I dont mind it. I kinda like it sometimes. All silly and slow feeling.
Like your heads swimming. Nerves trembling. Its like a drug man.

Man, I may like it, but I have never had to edit so many typos in my own posts. No kidden, I fixed four these two sentences....make that 6 corrections, dam, 7...8. I gotta stop this. But at least I fix em.

I guess we'll be working until the 1st shift crew gets here at 7. Oh well, that's an hour of overtime, I can dig it. I like my company and my job, but not enough to work for free guys, lol. Thanks for the quick replies!

I might as well introduce myself now. My name is Brad and I'm 23, I graduated from the University of Tennessee in May and am now committed to Comcast until next May. Right now, I do customer service for Comcast and am just waiting for something to open up here. I was on 1st shift for the summer and switched to 3rd once it opened up a few weeks ago. At that time I also purchased my '02 Expy 4x4 which I love and I also drive a '94 ranger that is a prime example of reliability.

With that said.....cheers!

LOL, my mind is faster than my fingers. I am typing and then realized that I didn't type all the letters so I have to go back and put them in. I did that about 4 times just now. It takes me a pot of coffee to get going in the morning. I have a couple of cups at work. Today would be my friday but I have to work tomorrow night. The vacation days keep adding up. I have 4 weeks available now. In the last year an a half, I have worked every holiday and have only taken 2 vacation days. If I was younger, I would not be a happy camper.

Thats my problem exactly. My mind works faster then my fingers. I'm tellin ya...thats pretty sad.
When I work a day shift, I can type 40-60 words a minute, with errors of course. Nights, I think the coffee shorts out the electricity...and I get all wacked out......
aaaahhhhhhhhhh.....he said wacked.

Mike, whatta gonna do with all this vacation time when you get it all built up?

I feel it only fair to be honest about my typing speed. I type alot of the same words to paragraphs.....so I guess that not really an accurate speed. If I had to type the dictonary......talking like .5 a minute.
