Yeah, I've found 1/2 and 9/6'' to be my favorite wrenches and sockets..
new vehicles are a pain in the behind though, my sister's chrysler uses a mix of SAE and Metric, with a few annoyingly placed torx bolts.

Aren't they sweet? We've got a 1 year old VF3 SS with extended Y in our shop. That thing cuts a bore to within about 0.0001".
I've got an old Bridgeport at home that's a year older than me, but it might be my favorite personal tool!

Nice work if you can get it.

I really wish I could afford to even think about a small Bridgeport, but it seems like my tool budget is dead until I can find a better job.

I cleaned out the tool boxes on "The Winchester Mystery Truck" and this is what I carry at all times. There's a lot more in the tool boxes in the bed. One's electrical and one's mechanical.

LOL. The truck weighs 7600 so I don't think it makes much difference. It's worth it to me to have tools with me.

1: Millermatic 252 MIG welder
2: Miller Thunderbolt stick welder
3: Oxy-Acetylene torch
4: Assorted right angle grinders
Those are always helpful for removing the "cancer" the trucks up here in the northeast US tend to get.

Id have to say a hammer. If all else fails just hit it with a hammer. It makes things worse most of the time but at least you can take out a little aggression.
