Glad to announce the birth of Frank and Jesse born today about 15:00.
All are well and at least two more young 'uns expected within a day or so.
Any help with names for twins is 'preciated..
my two twins (is that redundant?) are David and Erika, though I wanted to use family names Franklin or Bentley....the wife shot those down...liked Matthew too
naming is important, can help shape the critters indentity, especially a humans....
we had a German Sheperd once and we named him Cane and that for certain is all that damn dog raised...only time he ever slowed down and got quiet was when he ate a sack of raw potatos he dragged off the counter
any idea on their genders? always liked Melissa for a girl...can nickname her sissy
then there was my brother he had two sows once and he named them Laverne and Shirley cause he already had Lenny and Squiggy....they all cooked up fine :-)
Thanks Twins! I will keep Frank and Jesse for a few months then consign them to a larger herd eventually leading twixt two pieces of bread.
As far as German Shepherd's go- LOVE 'EM!!
These past two years are the only time in my adult life I ain't had shepherds.
Angel was with me for 16 years and John Lee blessed us with his presence for about 12 years.
Don't know the gender of the forth comin' goats- always a surprise but hopin' for girls.
P.S.- John Lee once dragged our Thanksgivin' ham off the counter, he still lived for at least 10 more years..
Any of you around Augusta tried Chef Redd's b-b-q? We worked on his truck today, and he just happened to leave us few samples. Good ribs, chicken, pork chops, not to mention fried fish, collard greens and hash-and-rice. It was necessary to put the truck up on the lift, so we just HAD to unload and dispose of the food in back, with Chef Redd's permission, of course! His place is on Wrightsboro Road at the Jimmy D. parkway, near I-20 and BelAir Road, but he delivers lunches all over town.
ribs 'n tater salad been callin' me.

The kinda food so good that ya just grunt "mmmmmmnnnpphh" and lick ya fingers.
