Glad to be back 3bronco-
settin' a pig loin as we speak- garlic, fresh ginger, chili oil, sesame oil, and green onions gettin' ready to go.
You doin' good I hope!!!

Best to ya bro- not cookin' tonight.
There is a chance of flurries so I am waiting on a chance to grill and snowball fight at the same time.
For some reason I am having a craving for twice baked taters....and shrimp..
Pappy Reds in cumming
Slopes in Alpharetta.
Both are great, I havn't tried Two Brothers in Ball Ground, but I hear it's good. People rave about Davis BBQ here in Jasper, I was very disappointed, way too much vinegar in the sauce. The stew....I think I have had better from a CAN.
The smoked loin was great and i keep thinkin ahead to what we could do for June.
That is a bad thing cause prep would mean ALOT of partyin to , well, prep. know whut i meen??
I've eaten at 2 Brothers in Ball Ground many times an they are really good but they don't hold a candle to The Pink Pig in Ellijay! holy cow (or pig ) i can't believe no one has mentioned them! they are by far the best i have had! i've been goin there for the past 15 years or so!
I am not sure how I could have forgotten Sprayberry's in Newnan! Lewis Grizzard's favorite all time BBQ joint. The BBQ is fantastic, the onion loaf unreal!

If we can keep the power on this wknd I hope to update the bbq list so that when one of us wins the lottery we can buy a big a** tour bus and go on a state wide beer-n-q something blah . Know what I mean blah?
Also- if you have a fav recipe bout bbq or anything else send it in and if it don't get too big i'm gonna try to text it and make copies for us.
What ya think??
Hope all my fellow North Georgians are inside and safe this weekend, with power. It didn't hit us like we thought but we have (at lease with my hammer and a 16d nail) about 3/4" of ice in the driveway. No tire studs, not much goes on ice well. Time to smoke a brisket! Later days.
Tex
We got about 3 inches of ice and it is still comin' down.
The power is flickerin' off and on and Thank God stayin on.
I just pulled some ribs off the grill and they are more dry than I would like.
I cooked professionially up north but I must be screwin' somethin' up.
Thank God the weather will change soon- 60's by Wed...
