Moved to Davenport, IA back in 2002, and have been here ever since. Seems once you move to Iowa, you can never leave...
Still trying to find a good off-roading spot near here, possibly down by the river, but haven't found anything but private property and a few mud pits that look like city-owned land access roads. The hunt continues...

have you tried Solon, it is very cloe to Lake McBride.
I wheeled there a few times years ago.
there is also a private land owner who runs a spot near DesMoines, called MIOBI(make it or break it)
