Yes I'm on explorer forum and yes I did live in Raytown but that's been about 6 years.
I didn't recognize your user name from the other site. Do you use another name?

I see your old house all the time.
Oh hey man. How are you?
6 years... dang time flys. My x is still kicking. In fact my oldest teen is about to take it over as his transportation to school.
So what do you drive now?
My daughter just yesterday asked if we could drive by our old house. How ironic. Lol
Howdy all,
My name is Jarod and im from Bethany, MO. Its a small town about 30 miles south of the Iowa border, right along I-35. A few months back, I picked up the truck in my signature (XLT Lariat 300 Straight 6) and I love it for what i use it for. I'm a welder, chainsaw and other OPE mechanic, and a custom knife smith. I also love shooting targets (making my own bullets, too), fishing, and bow hunting in my free time. I've gotten so much valuable info from here that i decided to become a silver member today. I appreciate all the past and hopefully future help and I'm not a master mechanic on big engines (mainly like working on Stihls, Husqvarnas, Dolmars, and Echos) but if i can contribute in any way or in regards to my specialties I'm happy to share what little knowledge i have. Thanks all and have a wonderful day!
Welcome , I turn big trees and have saws , a ported 88 old but mean . Iam from Springfield and down here we have a south west mo thread . You might look around here for a more active thread close to home . If not we got people from out of state. You
Ooh man, you're talking my language now, I love them old 88's. I do woods porting sometimes, not a bad penny if you already have the proper setup for your lathe and know your squish, angles, and timing formulas. I sold most of my big personal stuff, besides an 044 mag, kinda a medium saw for me, but my grandad was a lumberjack and used all the ol' Stihls. Thanks for the hint, but being new to the site, I'm still trying to navigate. If you can steer me toward a NW MO or NCentral I would appreciate it. Keep those big chips a flyin'. Peace and bar grease!
