Me and Shorty actually work in the Customer Service Dept. Shorty AKA Kevin Davis has been with Oreilly a lOOOONG time. I am only on my 6th year cause they didn't give me credit for my 3 years of part time. part time was 32 hours per week.
Welcome to the Mo Group.
Thanks for the welcome. My brother works over on the loading docks.
Hey Mark! If you came here seeking help for your problem, you probably came to the wrong place as we all seem to have the same problem. If you REALLY want to spend money on a Ford truck, build a monster truck. (see my avatar)
But seriously, welcome to the group.
No problem here. I've always had expensive habits. I've seen your truck before. My wife thinks the 9 inch lift on my 2001 GMC is a lot. She should see yours. She balked when I had the 37's on it. She made me down size to 35's. Again, she should see yours. She's a shorty.
I too am afflicted with the too many Fords, too little money but hey ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Until you drive out to Idaho to pick up a $350 56 Panel that's made into a trailer, there's probably hope for ya. I did this and now know I'm a goner. But it's probably not worth taking those odds. Embrace the bug with gusto and enjoy every minute looking for parts, working on or driving these blue oval wonders.
We all should be so lucky to have a 56 Panel. Been a gearhead since 1965 when I got a minibike. I have several of those. My 1970 Gilson, I found in Minneapolis and brought back to MO to restore will do 50mph. The scary part is I never put brakes on it. Fred Flintstone would had been proud as to how I so elegantly brought it to a boot smoking stop.
Jackson, MO, just West of Cape Girardeau and about 100 miles South of St. Louis down I-55. Originally from Fredericktown, MO. Actually, was an Army Brat and that is where my dad ended up after he retired from the Army. After I retired from the Army, I ended up in the Cape area.
