Hey all, new member here from Columbia. I'm working a contract in Afghanistan but do manage to get home two or three times a year. I've had several F350's over the years but recently picked up something new. It's a '99 E350 with the 7.3 PSD, and has been converted to 4wd using the running gear from an 07 F350. Can't wait to get home and take it for a spin!
I hope so! I am looking to go just a little bigger on the wheels and tires, but not too much. I would order them now, but since the axles are from an F350, I will need to figure out what the proper backspacing is before plopping any money down. It will be going into a shop in a couple weeks for 4" exhaust, and hopefully a tuner and intake. I am finding that a lot of psd performance stuff is not compatible with the E series platform. Definitely a challenge.... My next R&R will be mid Dec and I am hoping for a lot of snow to play in. :-)
Good call on waiting till you do your back spacing homework. That van looks to have alot of custom work done to it.
I have a few year long work tours over there too. I was based out of Kabul and remember lots of snow and cold over there. So when you come to Missouri for R&R, please leave the snow and cold over there, I think we will have enough for you here.
I over there again for a short 2 week work deal in Aug and it was nice compared to how it is over there now I am sure.
