I'm in Raytown too. Been here for 17 years now. Too bad it keeps going down hill every time you turn around. I Lived in Mission & Merriam KS prior to that.
You've lived here almost as long as I've been alive.
My condolences.
6 people got shot at that gas station next to the Church's on Eastwood trafficway last week.

I live right by there.
Keep your gun handy, stay safe y'all.
The drive by at Blue ridge & Gregory on New Years Eve is about two miles from me and the McDonalds at Blue ridge & 87th an hour later is 1/2 mile from me.
Haha I'd love to take you up on the pool buddy but I can't drink yet (I'm 19)
You might've seen my truck. I go down to that indoor go kart track/arcade/biker bar off 350/Blue Ridge Cutoff by that gun store and sutherlands to watch UFCs every now and then. Other than that I don't spend much time around Raytown, most of my business is at school in NKC, Independence and sometimes I go to my buddys farm out in Odessa. I like to see all the old trucks driving around Raytown, but I'm not exactly sure they're there for the right reasons.

To Trombogon:
Ooops my bad I didn't know you were 19 lol, though Flamingo is cool, even if you don't/can't drink those under 18 can still get in for pool, darts, food, & karaoke night. Since I'm tight with the owners it's even better, because I bring them new customers almost every time I go in. Hell I even got a another 90's F150 guy from my apartments to go up there on Friday's.
To Mountain Man:
Yeah I hear you, I've had relatives from both my dad's and mom's side who've all lived in or around Raytown for the last 40+ years, I myself have lived here since 1990. Back then I used to live on 63rd & Manchester, while my grandparent's, uncle and younger cousin all lived on 79th & Hardy. I have an ant that has lived over on 57th and Lane for 20+ years, my mom has bounced around Raytown 3 times, and since I've been on my own (20 y.o.) I've lived in 3 places around Raytown & 1 in South KC. It's all going down hill, first place I lived in was only 2 blocks north of my ant on 57th, and it was worse than her neighborhood. I'm about to move up to Northeast KC in Indian Hills, but it's only for a year hopefully I can move out to Warrensburg next year, I heard from a friend that it's a little quieter out there.

I'm going to assume you live by 83rd St. near Spring Valley Rd.?
I was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa in 1953 then in 1954 my family moved to Los Angeles County.
I lived in Long Beach, California from 1955-56 until March of 2005 when I moved to Landers, California located in the Mohave Hi-Desert.
I left Landers on January 28, 2009 and moved to Versailles, Missouri. Then to Tipton and ultimately here in Boonville. I like it here both in Boonville and also Missouri.
That is it.
Take care and Godspeed! Boon
Hey Boonslick, if you ever run into some Kosfeldt's, Brizendine's, Miller's, and/or Buerky's out there in Boon-Town, Sadelia, Jamestown, or Tipton Tell em' Nik Buerky Grandson of Jim Buerky says hi. I gotta reach out to my extended family somehow lol!
By the way My great uncle Gary Buerky, was the country Sheriff of that region for 10 years 1999-2009, you might of seen some of his signs when you moved out there.

85th St just west of Spring Valley. Unfortunately I don't own any Fords at the moment
Me either, as I've posted in 2 other threads, mine got knocked out by a hit n run driver,& a light pole on Gregory & Blue Ridge. Hit n run driver in a Chevy Burban, on Dec. (Friday) 13th of all things 2 bad omens, I guess 13 is no longer my lucky number lol. I ended up letting the city have my truck, because I couldn't afford impound and tow, but I'm just saving my money so I can get another one in May.
