dont remember who said it but you really cant service the torque shift yourself because you have to have the machine to get the fluid out of the torque converter it will not drain out must be pumped out if you change yourself it will leave the old fluid in converter. MAYBE I DIDNT MAKE MY POST CLEAR I SAID ZERO PROBLEMS IF YOU TOOK YOUR TRUCK IN FOR ANY ENGINE RELATED PROBLEM YOU SHOULD NOT POST HERE.

I believe that anyone can see past the little things that go on with a mass produced vehicle.
I know what you are looking for but the little things….??

Tim I think I posted this in the wrong place as it was intended for the milage and ptoblem forum. Would like to post here as I am not overly concerned about the FICM replacment. And I like you am Happy with my truck!!!

THAT THEY ALMOST DONT LIKE TO SELL THEM THEY HAVE OVER 50 IN STOCK AND IN YEARS PAST THEY WOULD BE LUCKY TO HAVE 5 IN STOCK.
the service writer cringe when a 6.0 pulls in because they are ofton not able to fix the truck. TIM yes there are lots of 6.0 that are trouble free but there are way to many problems with this engine ford should stop selling untill they get the problems solved. in the end what they are doing is going to cost them loyal customers.
What and have others miss out on the best diesel out there. This truck just blows me away every time I get in it. It shifts so smooth and the power is incredible. Only 1200 miles but no problems and I get around 16.3 mpg around town with my lead foot I am extremely happy with that. I actually get better gas mileage in my psd then my straight 6 F-150. I am seeing tons of 6.0's on the road in the Philly/South Jersey area. I was very leary of buying the 6.0 from reading this forum. I am so glad I bought it. Even when I have a bad day just getting in the truck and driving home makes it all better.

I'm right at 400 miles and wanting to step into it a bit more! IT starts easy, runs smooth, sounds great and when the doors are shut and the windows up it's quite. Went and showed it to my friends last night and the three of us sat up front at my insistance. Plenty of room! My friend urged me to get into it a bit. "wow this things is quick like a gas engine" was his response. I have retired a 96 Dodge with 12 valve cummins and in comparrisson... well there is none... this PSD runs like a... well I am impressed.

Now at 4000 plus miles and just got back from my first trip towing my 8500# boat from Phx to Long Beach. The old Dodge 12 valve would pull the pass going east from Indio to Chiriago sumit at 50 full throttle and this truck pulled it at 70 with lots of throttle left. I didn't need to go that fast but just had to try it. NO PROBLEMS.
