king nothing to be sorry about it is great to hear of trucks with no problems it is a shame there are not more but it is what I thought we would see the good trucks are the few and the problem trucks are the many, that is why you look at almost any ford dealer and they are full of the psd, the word is out. DONT BUY OR YOU WILL BE SORRY.

tn mac, I have 3 co-workers with 6.0 PSD with no problems, one had a flash and it worked out fine. Finding a new PSD here in So. CA can be quite difficult, they cannot keep them on the lots.

here in tn they are everywhere have a friend who is sales manager at largest ford store in town.he not only says they cant sell them but has told me that they have been geeting so many complaints from repeat diesel owners I.E. 7.3
THAT THEY ALMOST DONT LIKE TO SELL THEM THEY HAVE OVER 50 IN STOCK AND IN YEARS PAST THEY WOULD BE LUCKY TO HAVE 5 IN STOCK.
the service writer cringe when a 6.0 pulls in because they are ofton not able to fix the truck. TIM yes there are lots of 6.0 that are trouble free but there are way to many problems with this engine ford should stop selling untill they get the problems solved. in the end what they are doing is going to cost them loyal customers.

Sorry but you are out of your mind,

personal comments please ,FTE

not only am I gonna say BS but if there was that many 6.0's that didn't run they would be all over the news.6.0L is still the best selling diesel pickup.
I haven't even talk to someone who is having a problem in this area and they are everywhere.

I didnt say that they didnt run they are on the lot for sale, brand new. dont know about your area of the country but in the south pickups are very popular , the dealer where I buy mine usally sell about 20 psd a month and have only sold 20 all year and that is why they 50 on the lot, dont get me wrong I have been a loyal ford man for over 20 years but they are treating me terrible with this truck . That is ford not the dealer, how would you feel if you got 12.8 on the hwy and 8.2 inthe city and 6.2 pulling trailer and they told you there is nothing wrong. when you had 7.3 same truck 22 mpg hwy. 17 city and 14 pulling trailer

have been to 4 different dealerships only orginal one has made any improvement, only got 10 mpg on the hwy at first, off the record the diesel tech at dealership told me that 2 out 3 2004 6.0 dont get any mpgs. and ford doesnt know what to do.

sorry for the negative just hate to see others go through what I and many others are going through. will not post any negative any more, just very disappointed about my 6.0 after having two psd previously that were perfect , I guess my expectations are to high thanks. 16 trips to try and resolve poor fuel mpg and still no luck.
