Depends on what you want to do... the mail carrier/clerk exam had basic memory and word recognition tests. You can find books at the library that give you test examples and help you study.
My wife works for the main post office there in Billings and they are not hiring any full time workers..In fact when someone retires they demolish the job..The damn machines are taking over for the humans..
Our problem here is, we have a crappy Postmaster who has given our office a bad reputation. Nobody with a decent work ethic wants to work for him. So, we're a little short-handed, and we have some sloppy workers who managed to stay on simply because we couldn't afford to get rid of them.
Yes, it is harder to fire poor workers then the good ones from the PO for some reason..All they have to do is threaten a law suit and they are back in..Matt, they do hire some "casuals" from time to time..These are the grunts of the PO, they work when ever and where ever the supers. want them too..No set hours or days..Normally only hired during the holidays but it wouldn't hurt to call them and ask..$11 something an hour..No benefits and can be let go at anytime without warning..Hope Fedex works out for you..
Well, they gave me a second interview. Thats cool. Normally they have to wait a week for the upper management to decide and then they give out the second interview, but she gave it to me right there.
Well folks, I must amend my introduction; I no longer work at the sporting goods store in the mall.
Seeing as how Matt's got interviews and the like now, I may have to step into the role as resident slacker. But hopefully not for too long. I don't like being unemployed.
And it's along boring story, you probably don't want to hear it.
