Well we have 2 guys from SD now. Thats cool.
Looks like we also have quitet the crowd of hunters as well. Which is really awesome, now at the get together we can BS about something.

I grew up near Hazel SD, and went to high school at Hamlin High School.
Hamlin's and De Smet's rivalry in my high school days, made the Vikings and Green Bay (in the old days) games look like Sunday School!
BTW, it was a balmy 60F yesterday and 54F today in Rapid
. I sure dont miss the temps you guys get in De Smet.Rapid City is essentially the Banna belt for SD.
I even got to see about 15 bikes on the road, it was really strange seeing a Harley cruising down the interstate in one lane, and in the other lane a snowmobile tralier loaded with selds!

Hello to the banana belt from frigid De Smet. Sorry I can't attest to any school rivals as we are transplants. My wife was born and raised in Sioux Falls or Sewer Falls as I'm want to say. Me I'm very east river, I hail from Michigan. Which I left when 18 for the Army and married into SD. I tell people I'm just a tourist 
But I do love riding in the hills, 'specialy Needles. Now that's a ride.
Oh yeah it just tickles me no end when they show the 'great' Sioux Falls on tv and it is always brown with some kind of foam mixed in, hence the"Sewer Falls"

Word must be slow to leak out about this forum, I have seen more people from these areas then this on this site..LOL..
Anyway, I am Doug..I am 42, live in Park City and was born in Belle Fouche SD..It was easier for my mom to get there then Miles City, something about too much snow on the roads..LOL..Spent 10 of the longest years of my life in SoCal, my parents idea not mine..I got back here as soon as I could..The wife is from your area Matt..I have hunted the Pump Ranch and fished and hunted on Castle Mountian Ranch..Also fished the old Kattie Ranch by Checkerboard..Nothing but Fords at this house.....

I had to change my email, and the confirmation email never got sent, so I need to have one of the admin open it back up.
I was thinking though...I could just start another username every year, and then you guys wouldn't see just how many posts I really make.
