This feels like it should be an episode of Vice Grip Garage...

I've provided the link to your Buyer's Guide to a couple of dozen guys on the FB 6.0 page. The mods there don't like it and have suspended me a couple of times. They don't say why, but I assume it's because I'm sending traffic off their page. Unfortunately, FB doesn't enable attaching PDFs either.

But, talk about Vice Grip Garage, that FB page is a mess. I look smart on there.

Just an FYI (something to consider).

Choosing replacement harnesses MIGHT get expensive (and buying cheap ones can potentially cause you a lot of grief).

This is for the main engine harness by itself (and there are a number of other harnesses):

I truly do not know if buying expensive ones are "worth it", but it is not something that you would want to start having problems with in a few years.

I agree, money pit! 6.0L like to be maintained.

Turbo is most likely rusted, brakes too. Belt with a stator is a PITA to replace, water pump probably seized or leaking. Tires are also shot.

As stated, Rodents will eat everything, inside and out. You will spend tons of money for wiring, yes some assemblies are available but fewer and fewer. Also stated was fuel, bad fuel will kill injectors.

Even if you do get it running what will it take to make it reliable? Farmers are known to piece stuff together with duct tape and bailing twine.

Maybe a good parts truck but I would look for a non-modified maintained unit unless you want a project truck.
